Infuser is well constructed. Pressed stainless still with very fine holes prevents it from bending or breaking while working for even the finest teas.
The mug has the appropriate heft and has been dropped w/o breaking or chipping. Volume is great size.
Such a great thing, I went and got a second: one for home and one for work.

We purchased four red tea mugs and couldn't be happier. Amazingly easy to make tea in these, no noticeable tea makes it through the strainer and they are dishwasher safe! Cant get much better than that. Thanks amazon for carrying these at a great price.

This is my favorite tea mug. Holding generous 15oz, and the ceramic is a nice thickness. The strainer is the best part though, it has very fine holes. It has kept all types of tea leaves from escaping during brewing. The strainer is a generous size, giving the tea plenty of room to unfurl to steep properly. After steeping tea I lift the strainer over the mug to let the liquid drain inside, giving it a bit of a shake, after that I tap the strainer towards the inner top of the mug to drain out the brewed tea, to stop any dripping. I put the basket in the inverted lid and it doesn't leak over. I keep my tea leaves in the strainer for a 2nd steeping.
I choose this mug in white so I can really see the colors of the brewed teas in it. Washes easily, unlike other mesh strainers that the leaves get stuck in.
This mug is well made, performs admirably, and simple to use. This is my 'go-to' tea mug when making a cuppa for myself.
